Think what you would wear if you were going sledging outside after it had been snowing. The Chill in Chill Factore should give you a clue that it is pretty cold inside, and although you are sure to warm up doing physical activities you still need to dress warm. Gloves are compulsory, but you should also wear a warm jacket, trousers, and thick socks. You can hire waterproof jackets and trousers at Chill Factore on arrival for just £5 for a jacket and trouser combo.
You’ll be glad to hear all equipment is included free of charge. If you plan to ski or snowboard the skis, boots, poles, helmet and snowboard are provided. If you plan to experience some serious snow fun with the Luge, Tubing, Sledging or Snowplay, your booking includes the hire of snow boots, a helmet and the appropriate equipment for your chosen activity.
Chill Factore‘s main feature is its impressive real snow slope measuring 180 metres (~591ft). The slope is 15 degrees, which is equivalent to a difficult blue run or an easy red run in the Alps. On here you can ski or snowboard, either simply by booking time on the slope and going it alone, or booking a lesson with a qualified instructor.
