What Should I Wear & What Equipment do I Need?

Skis, poles, snowboards, boots, and helmets are all included in your slope booking fee, so no need to worry about bringing your own gear. Of course, if you have your own equipment bring this with you if you choose. Also, if you are sledging the sledge is provided free of charge.

Remember it’s minus 5 degrees inside, so you have to wrap up warm. Full length trousers/salopettes and long sleeved jackets are available to hire from just £5, while you need to have your own gloves, base layers and socks. These can however be purchased at the venue.

The Real Snow Slope

Sno!zone indoor ski centres boast and impressive 170 metre (~ 558ft) real snow main slope that has fresh snow all year round. Snow cannons scatter a cloud of fresh real snow on to the Sno!zone slopes that creates a perfect condition for snow sports. Basically the slopes at Sno!zone are housed within a giant freezer, where over 1,500 tonnes of fluffy white snow make skiing, snowboarding, and sledging fantastic.

Ski and Snowboard Lessons

At Sno!zone there are three ways to learn to ski or snowboard. <1> Learn in a day <2> Fast track <3> Single lessons.

Learn in a day

Designed specially for beginners who want to learn all the basics and get themselves ready for the main slope. During this all day session you will progress through 4 individual lessons, and by the time you are finished you will have all the skiing or snowboarding skills you need to qualify for the main Sno!zone slope.

Fast track lessons (x2)

During the fast track lessons you will cover levels 1,2,3,4, meaning you will become main slope ready. These lessons are perfect for beginners or for those wanting refresher lessons.

Single level lessons (x4)

You will cover all the same levels as with the fast track lessons, but at a more relaxed pace. Levels 1,2,3, and 4 will be covered during individual 1hr lessons, and by the time you are finished you will be experienced enough to handle the main Sno!zone slope.
