Southern Ski Club for the Disabled
The Southern Ski Club for the Disabled (SSCD) as the name implies is a club for those who are disabled helping them learn and enjoy skiing. The club caters for those with a wide variety of disabilities helping them to enjoy their experiences skiing. SSCD is a Registerred Charity which provides for all Disabilities and all ages, it meets on the artificial ski slope once a month and provides a snow holiday each year. There is an inhouse training scheme to support the Guides to the disabled. Our priority is leasure skiing but access to Race training is possible. The club is constantly looking for volunteers to help out so please get in touch if you can spare the time or if you have any other questions.
