Glencoe is situated on the A82, 26 miles south of Fort William and 23 miles north of Crianlarich. Set in an area of natural beauty on Rannoch Moor the Glencoe Mountain Ski resort offers stunning views of Buchaille Eitive Mhor. The location is perfect for snow and winter sports in Scotland, with skiing, snowboarding, sledging, and even avalanche rescue training available. The resort is popular with a wide range of different ages and abilities and holds the distinction of being the oldest ski area in Scotland. In total there are 19 runs across 7 lifts catering for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. The Glencoe Ski Scotland Resort has the longest and steepest runs in Scotland.
Glencoe is Scotland’s oldest Ski centre and was established in 1956, and includes the famous ‘flypaper’ run (The UK’s steepest black run).
