Winter Climbing at Nevis Range
As well as skiing and snowboarding at this Scotland Ski resort the Mountain Aonach Mor is fantastic for winter climbing. The two main climbing areas are Coire an Lochain and the West Face, and given their altitude they offer some of the most reliable winter climbing in Scotland. You can start your winter climbing adventures early since the gondola that takes you up to 650m departs at 8am prompt, every morning. There is also a quad chair to take climbers up to 870m, but this is an uplift service only operating after 9am. The Nevis Range also offers a wide range of alternative winter activities such as sledging, snowshoeing, and snow biking.
